Call for Entries: Making Space 2010 International Award
March 8, 2010 - August 8, 2010
The award invites submissions from across the world for the most successful building or space (indoor or outdoor) for children and young people aged 0-18 (inclusive), completed between January 2005 and December 2010. These could include schools, nurseries, school-age childcare services, recreational, cultural or community centres for children, families and young people, combined services for this age group or services shared with other age groups, play areas or street furnishings such as school bus shelters. The programme will also include a major international conference, and study visits showcasing examples of Scottish architecture for young children.

Call for Entries: Learning by Design 2011
May 2010 - September 30, 2010
Architectural, engineering, and design firms—and others related to the field—may submit entries completed in the past five years or significant works in progress.

Schools of Tomorrow: Student Design Competition
June 2010 - October 18, 2010
Competition challenges students to learn about building materials, specifically architectural aluminum building products and systems, in the design of a modern and creative school for students in grades kindergarten to sixth grade. The competition is open to all students of architecture and design in North America, with winning students/teams and their AIAS chapter receiving cash prizes totaling $7,225.
